For more information on our training services click here Safety Groups Program The Safety Groups Program is a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) program designed to recognize those businesses that make prevention a daily habit by building it into their management system. Participants in the OABA Safety Group may receive rebates on their WSIB premiums. Over the past five years the OABA Safety Group has received over $291,938.00 in rebates. For more information on the Safety Groups Program click here OABA Health and Safety Committee The establishment of the OABA Health and Safety Committee was approved by the Board of Director in December, 2006. The mandate of this committee is to develop, with the assistance of the Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance Specialist, strategies to reduce workplace injuries and accidents. Based on the health and safety needs of the membership in the agri-business sector, this committee develops sector specific standards, products, programs and services.
